ABUSIVE SICK ARREST
Abusive sick leave:
Unfair work stoppages seriously harm the proper functioning of a business, and can cause it considerable harm.
The prolonged and repetitive absences of the employee cause an overload of work for his colleagues, and disrupt the internal organization of the company.
Moreover, such practices can harm the financial health of the company, because of the compensation that the employer must pay to any employee who has at least one year of seniority in the event of sick leave, from the 8ᵉ day of his arrest.
If you suspect one or more of your employees of abusive sick leave, call on a private investigator who can provide proof of the abusive nature of sick leave, and/or proof of another undeclared activity during periods of stop.
Here are the most common cases:
- Employee on sick leave who does not respect the discharge times prescribed by the attending physician.
- Employee who carries out a professional activity during his sick leave, on his own behalf or on behalf of a third party
- Employee carrying out a physical or sporting activity incompatible with his officially declared state of health.
